3.13 Checking the Start Aid Relay
Prerequisites  Fully-charged battery
 Functioning key switch
Procedure Follow the procedure below to check the start aid relay.
1. Open the hood and locate the start aid relay (a) and disconnect it.
2. With the key in the preheat position, measure the voltage between wire 310-PU-
16 and ground.
Is 10.0–12.5 VDC measured?
3. Check the continuity between wire 200-BK-16 and ground.
Does the wire have continuity to ground?
4. Measure the voltage between wire 109-RD-10 and ground.
Is 10.0–12.5 VDC measured?
5. Reconnect the connector.
