16.13 Connecting the Wiring at the Junction Box

Perform the procedure below to connect the wiring at the junction box.

Note: This procedure is the same for metal halide and LED light fixtures.

Connecting

cord

1. Remove the screws and the cover plate from the junction box (a).

2. Use two wrenches to loosen the large connector (b) at the bottom of the junction

box.

3. Insert the end of the coiled cord (c) through the P-clamp (d) and through the

large connector so that approximately 1 cm (3/8 in.) of the coiled cord jacket

extends into the junction box.

4. Tighten large connector.

5. Slide the cord grip connector (e) into the winch bracket slot (f) and tighten the

cord grip connector using two wrenches.
