16.10 Installing the Light Support Bracket and Light Bar
Materials
needed
 Light support bracket and light bar from mast assembly
 Hardware bag 5
Installing the
light support
bracket and
light bar
Perform the procedure below to install the light support bracket and light bar.
1. Secure the light support bracket (a) to the light mount bracket (b) with two
M8 x 25 serrated flange screws (c) and two M8 lock nuts (d).
Tighten the M8 x 25 serrated flange screws to a torque of 24 Nm (18 ft. lb.).
2. Press the two light bar plugs (e) into each end of the light bar (f).
3. Attach the light bar to the light support bracket with two M16 x 90 screws (g),
two B17 flat washers (h), and two M16-10.9 serrated flange nuts (j).
Tighten the M16 x 90 screws to a torque of 58 Nm (42.8 ft. lb.).
4. Fasten the wiring junction box (k) to the light support bracket with two M8 x 25
serrated screws (m), two B8.4 flat washers (n), and two M8 lock nuts (o).
Tighten the M8 x 25 serrated screws to a torque of 24 Nm (18 ft. lb.).
5. Attach the wiring junction box cover (p) to the wiring junction box with two
screws (q).
6. Fasten a P-clamp (r) to the bottom of the light mount bracket, as shown, with an
M6 x 16 serrated flange screw (s) and an M6 lock nut (t).
