16.2 Installing the Axle

 Hardware bag 1

Installing the

axle

Perform the procedure below to install the axle.

1. Lift the machine using appropriate lifting gear. See Lifting the Machine in the

Safety Information chapter.

2. Locate the axle (a) and hardware bag 1.

3. Install the axle on the trailer using the following hardware from bag 1:

 Four M12 x 45 screws (b)

 Eight flat washers (c)

 Four lock nuts (d)

4. Tighten the M12 x 45 screws to a torque of 115 Nm (85 ft. lb.).
