5.5 Changing the Air Filter Elements

When

 Check daily

 Replace as needed

Requirements

 Engine is stopped and cool to the touch

 New air filter elements

Procedure

Perform the procedure below to change the air filter elements.

1. Stop the machine.

2. Open the access door.

3. Remove the canister cover and pull out the air filter elements (a). The small

inner element (b) is nested inside the large outer element.

4. Install a new filter element set and re-install the cover.

Result

The air filter elements have now been replaced.
