3.2 Tying Down and Transporting the Machine

Requirements

 Engine shut down

 Master switch OFF

Procedure

Perform the procedure below to tie down the machine.

1. Make sure that the transport vehicle is capable of handling the weight and size

of the machine. See Technical Data for dimensions and operating weight.

2. Close all access doors.

3. Block or chock the wheels and trailer tongue as shown.

4. Attach steel ropes or chains to each of the three tie down points (a) on the front

and rear of the machine.

5. Attach the other end of the chains to an appropriate vehicle capable of handling

the weight of the machine.

NOTICES

 Do not position ropes or chains across the machine frame or panels when tying

down the machine. Damage to the machine may occur.

 Do not use the jack to support the machine during transport.
