4. Maintenance
4.1 Engine Maintenance
The chart below lists basic machine and engine maintenance. Refer to
your engine Operator’s Manual for additional information on engine
maintenance.
4.2 Periodic Maintenance Schedule

Check fuel level.

Check engine oil level.

Inspect air filter. Replace as needed.*

Check external hardware.

Clean air cleaner element.*

Inspect shockmounts for damage.

Change engine oil.*

Check and clean spark plug.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Clean fuel tank.*

Check condition of fuel line. Replace
when necessary.

*Service more frequently in dusty conditions.
