3.5 Checking and Replacing the Burner Nozzle
Requirements Burner assembly removed
Removal Perform the procedure to remove the nozzle.
1. Remove the burner assembly. See topic Removing and Installing the Burner
Assembly.
2. Place an adjustable wrench on the large fitting (1) on the nozzle base (3).
3. Place another adjustable wrench on the nozzle (2).
4. Rotate the nozzle counter-clockwise and remove it from the assembly.
Installation Perform the procedure to install the nozzle.
1. Install the new nozzle (2) onto the nozzle base (3).
2. Tighten the nozzle (2) using an adjustable wrench. Rotate the wrench
clockwise.
3. Reinstall the burner assembly.
Result The nozzle has now been replaced.
