Complete Service and Repairs Before
Machine is Released
Tighten all bolts, ttings, and connections to torques
specied by the manufacturer.
Inspect for leftover components such as cotter pins,
washers, locknuts, etc. after completing service.
Replace any missing parts.
Start the engine and check for leaks. (See page 27,
Hydraulic System Hazards.) Operate all controls to
make sure the machine is functioning properly. Test
the machine if necessary. After testing, shut down and
check the work you performed.
Recheck all uid levels before releasing the equipment
for operation.
All parts should be inspected during repair and replaced
if worn, cracked or damaged. Excessively worn or
damaged parts could fail and cause injury or death.
Install all guards, covers, and shields after servicing.
Rell and recharge pressure systems only with
manufacturer-approved or recommended uids.
