6 Disassembly

40 Ignition system module/intake manifold

1. Take the ignition cable and short circuit cable (10,1) out of the guides (x) of the

hood (2).

2. Pull off the spark plug terminal cap (6) from the spark plug (7).

3. Hold the spring (8) of the spark-plug connector (6) with needle-nose pliers and

slide the rubber cap to the rear over the ignition cable (10).

Note: Apply a small amount of grease to the ignition cable (10) to make it

easier to detach and attach the spark plug connector (6).

4. Remove the spark plug (7) with the combination wrench included in delivery.
