OPERATION During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odor; this is normal and will quickly disappear. Overheat Indicator Power Switch Power Indicator Thermostat Dial TO OPERATE 1. Place the product on a flat, steady, stable, heat-resistant surface. 2. Plug the Power Cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. 3. To turn on the heater, rotate the Power Switch to the desired setting: FAN (no heat), LOW (500 watts), MED (1000 watts), or HIGH (1500 watts). 4.
MAINTENANCE CAUTION: Always be sure that the appliance is switched OFF before cleaning or attempting to store the item. Do not immerse heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior of the heater, as this could create an electric shock hazard. CARE AND CLEANING CAUTION: Allow the product to completely cool before handling or cleaning it. Ensure the Power Switch is in the “OFF” position and the Power Cord is unplugged from the electrical outlet before cleaning the product.
TROUBLESHOOTING SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEMS This unit has protection safeguards that shut off the unit when components become excessively hot or if it tips over. IF OVERHEATED • • • • • If heater becomes overheated, it will shut down automatically and the yellow Overheat Indicator will illuminate. Remove any nearby objects that may be causing overheat conditions. Keep at least three feet of space on all sides of the unit to allow adequate air circulation. Use the unit in a well-ventilated area.
LIMITED WARRANTY The warranty is void if the defect is due to accidental damage, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper repair or alteration by unauthorized persons or failure to follow operation instructions provided with the product.
