Clamping the Saw to the Workpiece
1.
Position the saw at the cutting location on the pipe,
with the saddle against the pipe surface.
2.
Start the hydraulic power unit.
3.
Make sure that the clamping drive levers and the cut-
ting drive lever on the TCU are in the closed (up) posi-
tion, as shown in Figure 5-37.
4.
Set the clamping direction lever on the TCU to the
ENGAGE position.
