3. Connect male end of tape section to electrical input. (Either power feed, joiner cable, previous tape section, etc).
Hard Wire:
• Class 2 transformer must be installed away from heat sources and it must be accessible for service.
• Enclosed Class 2 transformer is UL listed. The transformer box has a separate line voltage, and low voltage wiring compartments.
• Trade size knock out are provided on both compartments. Connect building wires to the same color transformer wires with wire nuts.
• Building ground wire may be green or uninsulated, and attaches to green wire from transformer box.
• Additional power feeds and wiring components are available.
Portable:
• 24 Volts Transformer plugs into standard 120 Volts 3 prong grounded outlet.
• Transformer must be installed away from the heat sources.
4. Peel adhesive backing cover o as strip is installed, pressing rmly to mounting surface in increments. Handle carefully at folding locations;
peeling backing cover o just before and after folded location, and then pressing to mounting surface, such that folds
are at desired angle.
5. Once pattern is complete, gently go along length of pattern pressing it to mounting surface. Remove front plastic covering and discard.
6. Install mounting clips (LED-T-CL1) immediately adjacent (avoiding contact with LED diodes) to either side of a fold using screws provided.
7. For straight runs on smooth surfaces, the included adhesive is sucient in most applications. However if mounting surface is a porous or
has a textured surface, then use a mounting clip every 6 inches to reinforce the installation. Channel and other accessories are also available,

8. Terminate each run with an end cap. Cut end caps or male end caps are the available choices for cut or uncut sections respectively.
