INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
HR90 LED Undercabinet Button Lights

B) Surface Mounting
NOTE: The cover piece is not needed for surface mounting and may be
discarded.
1. Wires may be run behind the xture or along the mounting
surface. Determine the most convenient location for wire
passage.
2. Screw the back plate to the surface with screws provided.
Ensure that the screw’s heads level with back plate.
3. To wire behind the xture, drill a hole in the surface
sucient to allow the socket wires through.
4. Feed the xture wires through the hole, and connect
the wires to a 24V transformer.
5. Snap the light xture onto back plate. Light xture is held
in place by magnet.
WIRING
Installation within a cabinet require 24V Class 2 transformers.
Class 2 transformers are by denition “Power limited”
(5 amps maximum) and “Inherently Protected” (fused).
Primary wires to the transformer enclosure must follow normal NEC
Chapter 3 wiring techniques. Non-enclosed secondary wiring and
splices are not restricted in concealed spaces.
