7.6 Disposal
This device contains a non-rechargeable lithium button battery
type BR (lithium carbon monofluoride cell) for retaining the time
even when the device is turned off. This battery must be
disposed of after its useful life has expired. Take it to an official
collection site for recycling.
First disconnect all cables and sensors from the device.
Screw the 6-pin screw terminal strip on and open the housing
by gently pulling on the terminal.
Remove the screw joining the two circuit boards and remove
the upper circuit board.
The button battery is located at the rear of the circuit board.
Remove it from its holder and have it properly recycled.
