The files
The sterilization data is saved on files with .TXT format and can be opened, viewed and printed by means of a
standard text editor. The files are saved with a read-only attribute.
Control code
At the end of the file a control code is included in order to allow the user to check the authenticity of the content.
The control code can be checked by W&H Sterilization.
The control code contains some additional information.

File name
The file names summarize the main information contained in the file according to the following structure.
File name example:
040128 28-01-04 08_41_22 A99 22E02-0095 01898 B&D _ HELIX TEST .txt
The file name is made up of the following information:
040128 28-01-04 08_41_22 A99 22 E 02-0095 01898 B&D _ HELIX TEST .txt

1: Date of the cycle: format YYMMDD in order to save the files chronologically:
YY last digits of the year
MM month
DD day
2: Date of the cycle: same format used by the sterilizer:
DD-MM-YY for EU versions
YY-MM-DD for JP versions
MM-DD-YY for US versions
3: Time of the cycle: same format used by the sterilizer:
HH-MM-SS for EU and JP versions
HH-MM-AM/PM for US versions
4: Alarm: (only in case of report with alarm)
with format AXX, where:
XX identifies the alarm code detected by the sterilizer

WARNING:
The file name does not include forbidden characters \ / : * ? “ < > | as they violate the rules for the file
name generation. All forbidden characters are replaced by the character “_” (underscore). For example,
the file name B&D / HELIX is converted to B&D _ HELIX.
All data forming the file name are obtained directly from the print report and maintain the language used
on the sterilizer.
