7 Trouble-shooting
This section lists problems which you can resolve simply yourself by following
the instructions given. If any other error messages appear or if you are unable
to resolve the problem, call Customer Services.
7.1 What to do if …
… appears
Before calling Customer Services,
please note down the error message
in full (message, (FN) serial number
and (E) error number).
Possible cause Solution
•The drain hose is
blocked, kinked or
defective.
Pumping height of the
drain hose (>1.2 m).
Connected to concealed
double drain trap.
Check the part of the hose that is not
housed in the appliance.
Resolve the problem.
Cancel the error message by pressing the
button.
Start the programme.
If the fault reappears, note down the
complete error message and FN number,
then switch off mains supply once more.
Call Customer Services.
