INTERFACING TO THE MODULE
The SM4351A has three, high density 30-pin connectors on its front panel for I/O interfacing.
Mating connector and pin part numbers are referenced below. These parts can be ordered directly
from VXI Technology or the manufacturer listed in the table.

The SM4351A is designed to provide a pin-to-pin replica of the Tektronix VX4351. This eases the
burden of integrating the SM4351A into preexisting test fixtures and makes re-cabling
unnecessary. Translation drivers are provided to make the software transition seamless, enabling
the VTI units to use the previously installed Tektronix driver calls. This ensures that any
application code written using the Tektronix plug&play drivers need not be modified.
