3.44 Small Peripheral Testing
Keyboard
• Check to see if cable pins are in good shape.
• If they’re OK, plug it in. Recycle if not.
• Select
Run… from the Windows Start menu, type notepad.exe and hit OK
• Type every letter on the keyboard, including numbers, and other special
characters including the space bar, arrow keys, etc.
• Use the Shift key and repeat.
• Use the Caps Lock and repeat.
