Designed for small hands, this handheld pad teaches children simple drawing skills, objects, and letter stroke order, step by step. As they draw on the writing pad with their round writing pencil, their drawings will appear on the interactive screen.

GETTING STARTED Getting Started BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit is OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. 3. Open the battery cover. 4. Install 3 new “AA” batteries following the diagram inside the battery box.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire. • Do not attempt to recharge ordinary batteries. • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. • Only batteries of the same and equivalent type as recommended are to be used. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES. Product Features PRODUCT FEATURES 1. ON/OFF button To turn the unit on, press the ON/OFF BUTTON. Press the ON/OFF BUTTON again to turn the unit off. 2.
5. REPEAT BUTTON Press the REPEAT BUTTON to hear the current instruction repeated. 6. CHECKMARK ICON Touch the CHECKMARK ICON to enter your writing/drawing on the interactive screen. 7. “X” ICON Touch the “X” ICON to erase your writing/drawing from the interactive screen. To preserve battery life, the VTech® Write & Learn Letter Pad™ will automatically turn off after several minutes without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing the ON/OFF BUTTON. • Press a letter button to hear the letter name and learn the lines related to this letter. For example, you will hear “A. Let’s practice lines before we write A.” Then you will learn to draw lines that form the letter A. When you are done practicing these lines, press the checkmark icon to see your drawing appear on the interactive screen! • Press the activity button to select this activity. • This activity teaches you to write letters, step by step.
