Conguring the Phone

You can congure the phone using one of two methods:

1. The User Settings menu on the phone

2. The WebUI, which you access using your Internet browser.

This section describes the User Settings menu. For information about the WebUI,

see page 56.

Using the User Settings menu

To view the User Settings menu:

1. When the phone is idle, press

Settings

The User Settings menu appears.

You can also view the User Settings by pressing the MENU key, then pressing:

• q to highlight User Settings, and then pressing SELECT.

• 3 (User Settings) on the dial pad.

The User Settings are:

Setting Options

1. Preferences Language

Date & Time (Clock time, Clock date, Time zone, NTP server, Set

manually)

Restart phone

2. Display Contrast (Level 1–7)

Backlight ON (Off, Low, Medium, High)

Backlight idle (Off, Low, Medium, High)

Timeout (10–60 seconds)

3. Audio Ringer tone (Line 1, Line 2…)

Key tone (On, Off)

Audio mode (Speaker, Headset)

4. DECT headset Register
