System Logs
On the Syslog Settings page, you can enter settings related to system logging
activities. It supports the following logging modes:
 Syslog server
 Volatile file
Under Network Capture, you can capture network traffic related to the phone’s
activity and save the capture as a .pcap file. The file can be used for diagnostic and
troubleshooting purposes.
Under Download Log, you can save the system log to a file.
The Syslog settings are also available as parameters in the configuration file. See
“log” Module: Log Settings on page 113.
Syslog Settings
Setting Description
Enable Syslog Enable log output to syslog server.
Server address Syslog server IP address.
Server port Syslog server port.
Log Level Sets the log level. The higher the level, the larger the debug output.
