Changing your base PIN
You can edit the base station PIN on the handset. After registering the rst
handset, the PIN code is required to register other handsets and deregister all
handsets. The default PIN is 1592.
To change the PIN:
1. Press MENU.
2. Press q to scroll to User settings and press SELECT.
3. Press q to scroll to Edit PIN code and press SELECT.
4. Enter the PIN, using the dial pad.
5. Press
OK
to save.
Editing the VLAN ID
Administrators can edit the VLAN ID using the handset.
To edit the VLAN ID:
1. Press MENU.
2. Press q to scroll to User settings and press SELECT.
3. Press q to scroll to Edit VLAN ID and press SELECT.
4. Enter the VLAN ID, using the dial pad.
5. Press
SET
to save.
Registering or deregistering your handset
You can register or deregister your handset using the handset menu. Follow
the instructions in “Registering the handset to the base” on page 21 and
“Deregistering the handset” on page 22.
