SIP Account Management
On the SIP Account Management pages, you can enter the account settings for each line
you have ordered from your service provider.
The SIP Account settings are also available as parameters in the configuration file. See
“"sip_account" Module: SIP Account Settings” on page 85.
General Account Settings
Click the link for each setting to see the matching configuration file parameter in
“Configuration File Parameter Guide” on page 84. Default values and ranges are listed
there.
Setting Description
Enable Account Enable or disable the SIP account. Select to enable.
Display Name Enter the name that will appear on the VCS754 display
when account x is selected.
The display name is also the
text portion of the caller ID that is displayed for outgoing calls
using account x.
User identifier Enter the User identifier supplied by your service provider.
The User ID, also known as the Account ID, is a SIP URI
field used for SIP registration. It is also used as part of the
caller ID displayed for outgoing calls.
NOTE
: Do not enter the host name (e.g. "@sipservice.com").
The WebUI automatically adds the default host name.
Authentication name If authentication is enabled on the server, enter the
authentication name (or authentication ID) for
authentication with the server.
