Telephone operation
Redial
Save a redial entry to the directory
Using a cordless handset:
Press REDIAL/PAUSE in idle mode.
Press CID, DIR , or REDIAL/PAUSE repeatedly to browse until the desired
number displays.
Press SAVE .
The handset displays EDIT NUMBER. Use the dialing keys to edit the
number, if necessary.
Press MUTE/DELETE or BACKSP to erase a digit.
Press and hold MUTE/DELETE to erase all digits.
Press CID or DIR to move the cursor to the left or right.
Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to insert a dialing pause (a p appears).

CID, DIR to select one of the following types:
Home
Cell
Work
Other
7. Press
NEXT . The screen displays ENTER NAME. Use the dialing keys
(page 89) to enter a name.
Press MUTE/DELETE or BACKSP to erase a character.
Press and hold MUTE/DELETE to erase all characters.
Press CID or DIR to move the cursor to the left or right.
8. Press
SAVE . The screen displays Saved. You hear a confirmation tone.
Using the telephone base:
Press REDIAL/PAUSE in idle mode.
Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, /DELETE, or REDIAL/PAUSE repeatedly to
browse until the desired number displays.
Press SAVE .
The handset displays EDIT NUMBER. Use the dialing keys to edit the
number, if necessary.
Press /DELETE or BACKSP to erase a digit.
Press and hold /DELETE to erase all digits.
Press CID or /REPEAT to move the cursor to the left. Press DIR or
/SKIP to move the cursor to the right.
Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to insert a dialing pause (a p appears).
