Telephone operation
Options while on calls
Speakerphone
If you are on speakerphone, displays on the cordless handset or telephone
base you are using.
On a call using a cordless handset:
Press /SPEAKER on the cordless handset to switch between normal
cordless handset use and the speakerphone.
On a call using a corded handset:
Press SPEAKER on the telephone base to switch between normal corded
handset use and the speakerphone.
On a call using the telephone base:
Press SPEAKER on the telephone base to end a call.
Join a call in progress
Another handset can join you on an outside call. The call continues until all
people hang up. You can share an outside call with telephone base and up to
four cordless handsets in the system.
To join a call on line 1 or line 2:
Using a cordless handset:
Press LINE 1/FLASH or LINE 2/FLASH on another handset to join the call.
Using the telephone base:
Press 1 LINE or 2 LINE to join the call.
To join a cell call:
Using a cordless handset:
Press A CELL or B CELL on another handset to join the call.
Using the telephone base:
Press CELL A or CELL B to join the call.
NOTE: If you have paired a cordless headset to the telephone base, you can also join a call
in progress using the paired device. Refer to the user’s manual of your cordless headset for
more information.
