Telephone operation
Call waiting on the cell line
If you subscribe to call waiting service from your cell phone service provider,
and someone calls you while you are already on a call, you hear a call waiting
alert tone.
To answer the incoming call from the same cell line:
Using a cordless handset:
Press SWAP , A CELL or B CELL on the handset. The original call is put
on hold and you take the new call.
Press OPTION on the handset. Press CID or DIR to highlight
Swap cell X (X represents the cell line slot). Press SELECT to resume the
original call. The other incoming cell call is put on hold.
Using the telephone base:
Press SWAP , CELL A or CELL B on the telephone base. The original
call is put on hold and you take the new call.
Press OPTION on the telephone base. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or
/DELETE to highlight Swap cell X (X represents the cell line slot). Press
SELECT to resume the original call. The other incoming cell call is put on
hold.
To answer the incoming call from the other cell line:
Using a cordless handset:
Press the corresponding key of the other cell line, A CELL or B CELL,
to put your current call on hold and take the new call.
Press the corresponding key of the original cell line, A CELL or
B CELL, to switch back to the original call.
Using the telephone base:
Press the corresponding key of the other cell line, CELL A or CELL B ,
to put your current call on hold and take the new call.
Press the corresponding key of the original cell line, CELL A or
CELL B , to switch back to the original call.
NOTE: If you do not want to answer the incoming call from a different cell line, press REJECT .
