Telephone operation

Make, answer, or end a cell call

The TL86103 can be used to make or answer calls on the cell lines. You can

connect a maximum of 2 Bluetooth enabled cell devices to the telephone base.

Both cell devices can be used on two cell lines at the same time.

Using a cordless handset:

To make a cell call:

Press A CELL or B CELL, and then enter the telephone number.

Press DIAL , /SPEAKER, A CELL, or B CELL to dial.

To predial a cell call:

Enter the telephone number, and then press A CELL or B CELL.

To answer a cell call:

Press /SPEAKER, A CELL, or B CELL.

To end a cell call:

Press OFF/CANCEL, or place the cordless handset into the charger.

Using the telephone base:

To make a cell call:

Press CELL A or CELL B , and then enter the telephone number.

Press DIAL or SPEAKER .

To answer a cell call:

Press SPEAKER , CELL A , or CELL B .

-OR-

Lift the corded handset.

To end a cell call:

Press the corresponding cell button, CELL A or CELL B .

-OR-

Press SPEAKER or return the corded handset to the telephone base.

NOTES:

You can also use your cell phone to answer the call. If you answer with your cell phone, it

disconnects from the telephone base.

If you do not want to answer the call, press REJECT .

When you try to make a cell call but your cell phone is not connected to the base, the

telephone base displays Cellular phone not connected. Please connect to proceed. Press

CONNECT on the telephone base to connect your cell phone to the telephone system. Refer to

Bluetooth connection from idle mode on page 26 and Connect/disconnect an active device

on page 27.

You can also make or answer a cell call using AT&T Softphone Call Manager. Please refer to

the Installation and Operation Guide in the CD-ROM which comes with the package.
