Answering system
Answering system settings
To delete your outgoing announcement:
Using the telephone base:
When the telephone base is in idle mode, press
MENU to enter the main menu.
Press SELECT to select Answering system.
Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to
highlight Mailbox 1 or Mailbox 2, and then
press SELECT .
Press SELECT again to select Announcement.
Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to highlight Play annc, and
then press SELECT .
While the announcement is playing, press /DELETE to delete the
announcement. The screen shows Annc. Reset.
To reset your outgoing announcement:
When the telephone base is in idle mode, press MENU to
enter the main menu.
Press SELECT to select Answering system.
Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to
highlight Mailbox 1 or Mailbox 2, and then
press SELECT .
Press SELECT again to select Announcement.
Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to
highlight Reset annc, and then press SELECT . The
screen shows Reset to default annc?
Press YES to confirm. The screen shows Announcement reset to default.
When your announcement is deleted, the system answers calls with the
default announcement described on page 106. You cannot delete the default
announcement.
