ON/OFF/MODE SELECTOR SWITCH To turn the unit ON, slide the ON/OFF/MODE SELECTOR SWITCH to the LEARNING MODE ( ) or the DISCOVERY MODE ( ) position. To turn the unit OFF, slide the ON/OFF/MODE SELECTOR SWITCH to the OFF ( ) position. 0IM.indd 6 3. Automatic shut-off To preserve the battery life, the VTech® Stack & Learn ElephantTM will automatically power-down after approximately 30 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button or by adding or removing rings. To convert the push toy to a pull toy, remove the pull cord from the battery compartment and thread it through the eyelet on the base. We suggest you store the pull cord in the compartment until your child is walking. ACTIVITIES 1.
