INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the Sort & Learn VanTM learning toy! Introduction Get baby on the road to learning with the Sort & Learn VanTM. This fun pull toy teaches baby numbers, colors, shapes, objects, safety phrases, and music. The Sort & Learn VanTM sorts 5 shapes, includes 3 piano keys, and 3 colorful buttons that teach stop, slow down and go. The playful puppy driver moves from side to side when the van is pushed or pulled.
INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE - One Sort & Learn VanTM learning toy - Five shape sorter pieces - One user’s manual BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. Use a coin or a screwdriver to loosen the screw. 3 Install 2 new “AA” (UM-3/ LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.) 4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
• • • • • Remove batteries from the equipment when the unit will not be used for an extended period of time. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Do not attempt to recharge ordinary batteries. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Only batteries of the same and equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickelcadmium) batteries. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES. PRODUCT FEATURES 1.
3. MODES OF PLAY The two modes of play include LEARN and MUSIC. 1. To turn the unit on, press the on/off button on top of the car. In the Learn Mode, you will hear sounds, phrases and a sung song. In the Music Mode, you will hear sounds, phrases and a melody. The headlights will flash with the sounds. 2. Insert the shape sorter pieces into the correct spaces. In the Learn Mode, you will hear the shape identified, fun phrases and sound effects.
4. Pull or push the car along (the pullalong cord can be found or stored away in the battery compartment). In the Learn Mode, you will hear fun phrases or a sung song. In the Music Mode, you will hear the sung song and melodies sung by the puppy. The headlights will flash with the sounds. 5. If there is no input to the unit after approximately 15 seconds, you will be asked to find a piano key. After another 15 seconds if there is still no input, the unit will play the theme song.
