INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the VTech® Pull & Learn LionTM learning toy. Introduction The VTech® Pull & Learn LionTM is the purrrfect way to learn. Press the light-up mode selector buttons and spin the lion’s mane to learn the alphabet, colors, shapes, body parts and hear fun melodies! Watch the lion’s head wobble from side to side as the disk is spun and the light-up tail flashes along with the responses to delight and entertain.
INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE - One VTech® Pull & Learn Lion™ learning toy - One instruction manual GETTING STARTED BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. Use a coin or screwdriver to loosen the screw. 3. Install 2 new ‘AA’ batteries following the diagram inside the battery box (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance). 4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
Always remove exhausted batteries from the equipment. • Do not dispose of batteries in fire. • Do not attempt to recharge ordinary batteries. • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. • Only batteries of the same and equivalent type as recommended are to be used. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES. PRODUCT FEATURES 1. ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH To turn the unit ON, slide the ON/OFF/ VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the LOW VOLUME ( ) or HIGH VOLUME ( ) position.
ACTIVITIES 1. Slide the on/off/volume control switch to turn the unit on. You will hear a friendly lion roaring sound, a fun phrase and a song. The lights will flash with the sounds. 2. Spin the lion’s mane to hear letters, colors and shapes, sounds or short tunes depending on the mode of play that has been selected. In the music mode, when a melody is playing and the mane is spun or the lion is rolled, a variety of fun sounds will play over the melody. The lights will flash with the sounds.
5. If there is no input to the unit after approximately 15 seconds, you will hear a phrase or a sound effect depending on the mode of play. After another 15 seconds if there is still no input, the unit will ask a random question. If there continues to be no input to the unit, it will automatically power-down. 1. 1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth. 2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source. 3. Remove the batteries when the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time. 4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
