Introduction Thank you for purchasing the VTech® Magical Dancing Flower™ learning toy. This engaging toy features two modes of play with a light-up motorized flower that dances to music.
INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE GETTING STARTED BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. Use a coin or a screwdriver to loosen the screw. 3. Install 3 new ‘AA’ (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.) 4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure the battery cover.
• • • • • • • • • • The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance. Install batteries correctly observing the polarity (+, -) signs to avoid leakage. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbonzinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). Remove the batteries from the equipment when the unit will not be used for an extended period of time. Always remove exhausted batteries from the equipment. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
PRODUCT FEATURES 2. MODES OF PLAY The two modes of play include LEARNING and PLAY. Slide the MODE SELECTOR SWITCH to choose a mode of play. 3. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech® Magical Dancing Flower™ will automatically power-down after approximately 30 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button. Product Features 1.
ACTIVITIES 2. In Learning Mode, press the piano keys to learn colors, numbers, insect names and to hear some fun sounds and short tunes. The light on the flower will flash along with the sounds, and the flower will dance to the melodies. 3. In Play Mode, press the piano keys to play more fun sounds and some upbeat melodies. While a melody is playing, press the piano keys again to play the tune one note at a time. If you stop pressing piano keys, the full melody will resume.

CARE & MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOOTING If for some reason the program/activity stops working, please follow these steps: Please turn the unit OFF. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again. If the product still does not work, replace with an entire set of new batteries. If the problem persists, please call our Consumer Services Department at 1-800-521-2010 in the U.S.
