8.1.2 Dial a Call Log Entry
Search for the desired entry in the call log.
When the desired entry displays, press or on a handset to dial.
8.1.3 Save a Call Log Entry to the Phonebook
Call log entries can only be saved to the Home phonebook.
Select a desired entry in the call log.
When the desired entry displays, press SAVE. Then the handset displays EDIT NUMBER.
Use the dialing keys to edit the number.

p
q
to move the cursor to the left or right.
Press DELETE or BACKSP to backspace and erase a digit.
Press and hold DELETE to erase the entire entry.
Press and hold PAUSE to insert a dialing pause (a P appears).
Press NEXT to move to the name. The handset displays EDIT NAME.
Use the dialing keys to add or edit the name.
Press

q
to move the cursor to the left or right.
Press DELETE or BACKSP to erase a character.
Press and hold DELETE to erase all characters.
Press to toggle the name order. For example, Mike Smith becomes Smith Mike when you
press .
Press SAVE when done and the handset shows Saved.

If the name received from the telephone service provider is in all capital letters, the rst letter of
every word remains a capital letter. However, the next letter after the prex “Mac”, “Mc”, or “O’”, is
kept as a capital letter. For example, the “D” in “MacDonald” is kept as a capital letter.
When you try to save a call log entry without any calling number display information, the handset
displays Unable to save.
When you try to save a number already stored in the phonebook, the screen shows Number
already saved.
