Directory
Dial a directory entry
Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review directory entries or
Alphabetical search on page 64).
To dial the displayed entry on the cordless handset, press or .
Edit a directory entry
Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review
directory entries or Alphabetical search on page 64).
When the desired entry displays, press EDIT. The handset
displays EDIT NUMBER.
Use the dialing keys to edit the name.
Press q or p to move the cursor to the left or right.
Press DELETE or BACKSP to erase a digit.
Press and hold DELETE to erase all digits.
Press and hold PAUSE to enter a dialing pause
(a P appears).
Press NEXT. The handset displays EDIT NAME. Use the
dialing keys to edit the number.
Press q or p to move the cursor to the left or right.
Press DELETE or BACKSP to erase a character.
Press and hold DELETE to erase all characters.
Press SAVE to save the entry. The handset displays Saved
and then the revised entry. You hear a confirmation tone.
Delete a directory entry
Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review
directory entries or Alphabetical search on page 64).
Press DELETE on the handset. The handset displays the
name of the entry and Delete contact?
Press YES to confirm. The handset displays Contact deleted.
The handset returns to the previous menu and you hear
a confirmation tone.
