GETTING STARTED
Installation
Connect Power and Telephone Line Cords

telephone jack
Standard
electrical outlet
Connect the power cord. After
charging the battery for at least
16 hours, connect the telephone
line cord.
• Install the base unit
away from electronic
equipment such
a s p e r s o n a l
computers,
television sets or
microwave ovens.
Avoid excessive
heat, cold, dust or
moisture.
• Connect the power
a n d t e l e p h on e
line cords to the
underside of the
base as illustrated.
• P l u g t h e A C
adapter into an
electrical outlet. If
the battery has not
been previously
charged,
place the handset in
the base, and allow
it to charge for 16
hours (or overnight).
Connect
the telephone line
cord to the wall
jack.
