Basic operation
Telephone settings
Dial type
The dial type is preset to touch tone. If you would like to change this setting
to dial pulse (rotary):
When in the SETTINGS menu, press the down NavKey to choose DIAL
TYPE. Press the center NavKey .
Press the up or down NavKey or to choose TONE or PULSE, then
press the center NavKey .

Clear voicemail
If you have checked all of your new voicemail messages and the handset
indicates that you still have new voicemail, you can clear the voicemail indication.
• From the
SETTINGS menu, press the down NavKey until you reach
CLR VOICE MAIL. Press the center NavKey to conrm.

TURN INDICATOR OFF? will display. Press the center NavKey to
conrm or press OFF/CLEAR to cancel.

Clock setting
In this menu, you can set the clock for the handset.
• When in the
SETTINGS menu, press the down NavKey until you reach
CLOCK SETTING. Press the center NavKey .
• Press the up or down NavKey
or to change the hour, then press the
center NavKey .
• Press the up or down NavKey
or to change the minute, then press
the center NavKey .
• Press the up or down NavKey
or to choose AM or PM, then press
the center NavKey to save.

When in
the CLOCK
SETTING menu
the digit keys on
the handset can
also be used to
change the hour
and minute.
• If you subscribe
to caller ID
services, the
clock will be set
automatically
with the next
incoming call.
If the date
and time on
one handset
are changed,
they will not be
automatically
updated on all
other handsets.
• Clear voicemail
is a temporary
function. The
light will turn on
again after a new
message is left.
