Answering system settings
To delete your outgoing announcement:
1. When the handset is in idle mode, press MENU/ SELECT to enter the main
menu.
2. Press
MENU /SELECT again.
3. Press
T CID or DIR S to scroll to >ANS SYS SETUP , then press MENU /SELECT .
4. Press
T CID or DIR S to scroll to >ANNOUNCEMENT , then press
MENU /SELECT , the system announces, “To play, press 2 . To record, press 7 .”
5. Press 3 to delete your recorded announcement.
If your announcement is deleted, calls are answered with the pre-recorded
announcement described on page 15.
Voice language
You can select ENGLISH or FRANÇAIS for the voice prompts used in the
answering system.
To change the setting:
1. When the handset is in idle mode, press MENU/ SELECT to
enter the main menu.
2. Press
MENU /SELECT again.
3. Press
T CID or DIR S to scroll to >ANS SYS SETUP , then
press
MENU /SELECT .
4. Press
T CID or DIR S to scroll to >VOICE LANGUAGE ,
then press
MENU /SELECT .
5. Press
T CID or DIR S to select ENGLISH or FRANÇAIS ,
then press
MENU /SELECT to confirm your setting. A
confirmation tone sounds.
