8.5 Display Alert
In the display alerts menu, you can change and edit the settings for the display of
alerts on the idle screen.
8.5.1 Missed Call Indicator
When there are missed calls that have not been reviewed in the call list, the
handsets show XX Missed calls.
Each time you review a call list entry marked NEW, the number of missed calls
decreases by one. When you have reviewed all the missed calls, the missed call
indicator goes away.
If you do not want to review the missed calls one by one, you can reset the missed
call indicator. All the entries are then considered old and kept in the call list.
To reset the missed call indicator:
Press MENU in idle mode to enter the main menu.
Press or on the handset, or press or on the telephone
base to highlight Settings, then press SELECT.
Press or on the handset, or press or on the telephone
base to highlight Display alerts, then press SELECT.
Press or on the handset, or press or on the telephone
base to highlight Home line or Mobile line, then press SELECT.
Press or on the handset, or press or on the telephone
base to highlight Missed calls, then press SELECT to conrm. The screen
displays Reset missed call indication? Press YES to conrm. You hear a
conrmation tone.
You can also press and hold on the handset to erase the missed call
indicator when the telephone is not in use.
8.5.2 No Line Indicator
If there is no telephone line connected to the telephone base, the screens show
No home line. If you do not want to display the message on the handset screens
(for example, if you use the mobile line only), you can turn off the no line alert.
To reset the no line alert:
