9.2 Using the answering machine at the base
9.2.1 Switch on/off
Press A to turn the answering system on or off. The light behind the key will be on when answering system is turned on.
9.2.2 Call screening
You can listen at the telephone base to a caller leaving a message. If you want to temporarily turn off the call screening
feature during the message recording, Press
_ on the base.
9.2.3 Play Messages
If you have new messages, the telephone plays only the new messages (oldest first). If there are no new messages, the
telephone plays back all messages (oldest first).

2. During message playback, press below keys to perform the following functions:
_: Press to stop playing messages or resume playback.
(: Press once to replay current message from the beginning. Press twice to playback the previous message.
): Skip to play the next message.
X: Delete the current message.
<: Increase the speaker volume.
>: Decrease the speaker volume.
9.2.4 Delete all old messages
In idle mode, press and hold X on the base, all previously heard messages will be erased.
