Note:
As long as you have auto answer set to ON you can answer a home line call by lifting the handset off the base.
If you have switched auto answer off, you will need to press
F or S when you lift up the handset. The default setting of
Auto Answer is ON.
8.1.6 Handset reset
1. In standby mode, press N then +/- to select SETTINGS.
2. Press
N then +/- to select RESET.
3. Press
N then use the keypad to enter 4-digit PIN (the default 4-digit PIN is 0000).
4. Press
N. The display shows RESET TO DEFAULT SETTINGS?.
5. Press
N to confirm.
8.2 Base settings
8.2.1 Set dial mode
The default dialing mode is suitable for your country and network operator. It is unlikely that you should need to change this
setting unless advised to do so.
1. In standby mode, press
N then +/- to select SETTINGS.
2. Press
N then +/- to select DIAL MODE.
3. Press
N then +/- to select the dial mode from TONE and PULSE.
4. Press
N to confirm.
