INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the VTech® Discovery Nursery Farm™ learning toy! The VTech® Discovery Nursery Farm™ lets your baby join the barnyard jamboree while introducing animals, instruments, colors and more.
INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE • One VTech® Discovery Nursery Farm™ learning toy • One user’s manual WARNING: All packing materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, wire ties and tags are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety. NOTE: BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. Use a coin or a screwdriver to loosen the screw. 3.
• • • • • • • • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbonzinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
ACTIVITIES 2. Press the piano buttons to learn colors and music notes in Learning Mode. In Music Mode, while a melody is playing, press the piano buttons to play the melody one note at a time. The light will flash with the sounds. Activities 1. Press the animal buttons to learn about animals and instruments in Learning Mode. Hear fun instrument sounds and melodies in Music Mode. While a melody is playing, press an animal button to have that animal sing the melody. The light will flash with the sounds.

After a few seconds of no input, you will hear a question about an animal in Learning Mode, and a question about an instrument in Music Mode. Press the correct animal button or the farmer button to hear a rewarding sound and phrase. 7.

1. Please turn the unit OFF. 2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries. 3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries. 4. Turn the unit ON.
