Teddy is a great patient and is ready for you to help him feel better. Toddlers can use the stethoscope and touch the hot spot on Teddy’s heart to hear playful sounds and phrases.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES. PRODUCT FEATURES 1. ON/OFF switch To turn the unit ON, locate the ON/OFF SWITCH inside the back of the unit on the battery compartment. Slide the ON/ OFF SWITCH to the ON ( ) position. To turn the unit OFF, slide the ON/OFF SWITCH to the OFF ( ) position. Instructions & Activities BATTERY NOTICE • The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance. • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
2. MODE SELECTOR BUTTON To select a mode of play, press the MODE SELECTOR BUTTON on Teddy’s left ear to select PLAY MODE ( ) or MUSIC MODE( ). The unit will always default to the PLAY MODE when first turned on. 3. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech® Care & Learn Teddy™ learning toy will automatically power-down after approximately 30 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button. ACTIVITIES 1.
4. The thermometer will check to make sure that Teddy isn’t running a fever. Press the button on the back of the thermometer to scroll through the temperatures. Please note, there are no electronics in the thermometer, it is for role-play only. 5. Hold the end of the interactive stethoscope up to the heart on Teddy’s shirt to activate the sensor. You will hear playful and endearing phrases as well as fun sounds in the play mode.

Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth. 2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source. 3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time. 4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces.
