Titles for Computer Peripherals:
Brand + Product + (model # [if applicable])
If a model number is included, add it at the end in parenthesis. Don’t begin with the model number.
In general, color is not necessary in the title. Do not mention color in the title unless it is a special feature of the product,
such as a limited edition for which color is important (such as the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 -
Dragon Fruit Pink). If you are unsure whether the color is important, do not put the color in the title.
If you are unsure about the exact product name, check the manufacturermanufacturer’s website. More often than not, that
is the format that we use.
The first letter of each word in the title should be capitalized, unless the product name or manufacturermanufacturer’s
name is deliberately spelled with a lowercase letter (such as ooma Core VoIP Phone System with No Monthly Phone
Service Bills) or all caps.
Sample Manufacturers with Unusual Names or Spelling:
3Dconnexion
D-Link
InFocus
Netgear (don’t use all caps)
ooma (first letter is lowercase)
SwissGear (all one word)
TRENDnet
VisTablet
ZyXEL
Spell out words such as inches, feet, pounds, and other types of measurements.
Size information should only be included in titles when it differentiates the Item from similar Items.
