Directory

Dial a directory entry

1. Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review directory entries or

Alphabetical search on page 37).

2. To dial the displayed entry on the handset, press or to use the home

line; or press

to use the cell line.

Edit a directory entry

1. Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review

directory entries or Alphabetical search on page 37).

2. When the desired entry displays, press SELECT. The

handset displays Edit number.

3. Use the dialing keys to edit the number.

• Press or to move the cursor to the left or right.

• Press DELETE to erase a digit.

• Press and hold DELETE to erase all digits.

• Press and hold PAUSE to enter a dialing pause

(a P appears).

• Press to add ( appears) or to add

( appears).

4. Press SELECT. The handset displays Edit name.

5. Use the dialing keys to edit the name.

• Press or to move the cursor to the left or right.

• Press DELETE to erase a character.

• Press and hold DELETE to erase all characters.

6. Press SELECT to save. The handset displays Saved and

then the revised entry. You hear a conﬁrmation tone.
