•While reviewing a caller ID log entry, press
repeatedly to add or remove 1 in front of
the telephone number before dialing or
saving it in the directory (page 45).
•Press and hold to set or dial your voicemail
number (page 20).
5 – Dialing keys
•Press to enter numbers or characters.
•Press to answer an incoming call (page 24
or page 25).

•Press to switch to tone dialing during a call
if you have pulse service (page 29).

•Press to make a home line call using the
handset speakerphone (page 24).
•Press to answer a call using the handset
speakerphone (page 24 or page 25).
•During a call, press to switch between the
handset speakerphone and the handset
earpiece (page 27).
8 – REDIAL/PAUSE
•Press repeatedly to view the last
10 numbers dialed (page 28).
•While entering numbers, press and hold to
insert a dialing pause.
9 – MENU/SELECT
•Press to show the menu (page 16).
•While in the menu, press to select an item
or save an entry or setting (page 16).
10 – OFF/CANCEL
•During a call, press to hang up (page 24
and page 26).
•While in a menu, press to return to the
previous menu, or press and hold to
return to idle mode, without making
changes (page 16).
•Press to delete digits while predialing
(page 24 and page 25).
•While the phone is ringing, press to
silence the ringer temporarily (page 29).
•Press and hold to erase the missed call
indicator when the handset is not in use
(page 44).
11 – CID/q/VOLUME
•Press to display the caller ID log when
the phone is not in use (page 44).
•Press to scroll down while in a menu, or
in the directory, caller ID log or redial list.
•While entering names or numbers, press
to move the cursor to the left.
•During a call or message playback, press
to decrease the listening volume (page 27
or page 56).

options when reviewing a caller ID log
entry (page 45).
•Press and hold to set and turn on the
quiet mode, or turn it off (page 23).
13 – MUTE/DELETE
•During a call, press to mute the
microphone (page 27).
•While the phone is ringing, press to
silence the ringer temporarily (page 29).
•While reviewing the redial list, directory or
caller ID log, press to delete an individual
entry (page 28, page 39 and page 47
respectively).
•While predialing, press to delete digits
(page 24 and page 25).
