Handset registration

An S2310/S2310-6VDC handset must be registered to an S2410/CTM-S2411 telephone base before use. An S2320/S2320-6VDC

handset must be registered to an S2420/CTM-S2421 telephone base before use.

To register an S2310/S2310-6VDC handset:

Place the corded handset on the S2410/CTM-S2411 telephone base cradle. Handset registration happens automatically the rst

time a handset is placed on the S2410/CTM-S2411. When the registration process completes, the MESSAGE WAITING LED

ashes once and you hear 3 rising beeps as conrmation. Each S2410/CTM-S2411 accommodates up to 4 handsets. When

you already have 4 registered handsets, you can replace one of them by a new handset if any one of the 4 registered handsets

is disconnected from the S2410/CTM-S2411. For example, it is out of range, or its battery is removed or depleted. The previous

registered handset is then deregistered from the S2410/CTM-S2411.

To register an S2320/S2320-6VDC handset:

Place the corded handset on the S2420/CTM-S2421 telephone base cradle. Handset registration happens automatically the rst

time a handset is placed on the S2420/CTM-S2421. When the registration process completes, the MESSAGE WAITING LED

ashes once and you hear 3 rising beeps as conrmation. Each S2420/CTM-S2421 accommodates up to 4 handsets. When

you already have 4 registered handsets, you can replace one of them by a new handset if any one of the 4 registered handsets

is disconnected from the S2420/CTM-S2421. For example, it is out of range, or its battery is removed or depleted. The previous

registered handset is then deregistered from the S2420/CTM-S2421.

Any S2310/S2310-6VDC handset can register to any S2410/CTM-S2411 telephone base before use. Any S2320/S2320-6VDC

handset can register to any S2420/CTM-S2421 telephone base before use.

When a registered handset is idle, place it on another telephone base. This handset automatically registers to the new telephone base.
