Telephone base installation
The telephone comes ready for desktop use. Install the telephone base as shown below.

If you have High Speed
Internet Access service,
a DSL filter (not included)
is required.
When the telephone base has been initially installed, make sure the power adapter is securely plugged into an outlet not
controlled by a wall switch, and the telephone line cord is plugged rmly into the power adapter and the telephone wall jack.
Press /SPEAKER on the telephone base. Listen for a dial tone and then press /SPEAKER again to hang up.
CAUTION:
Use only the supplied RJ-45 cord and power adapter. RJ-45 cord is not designed for use in any other IT devices. Misuse of RJ-45 cord on your
other IT devices shall be prohibited. To order a replacement, call 1-888-907-2007.
