COMPLETE READING SYSTEM (SCAN WITH SPEECH)
The Complete Reading System is an easy to use, self-contained Scanning & Reading program.
Most of the functions can be activated with a press of a single key.
Press the F5 key and the program will activate your scanner and recognize the text. When it is
finished, press the F6 key and it will start reading. This Program has full talking menus and
does not require any screen reader to navigate through the settings.

OPEN BOOK UNBOUND
Here’s a new and improved software program that will let you scan a (Printed Only)
document into your computer once and have OPENBook 5.0 convert it into electronic
information. Then Open Book will read it aloud using your synthesizer. It will then
display the text on the screen with a variety of settings for those with low vision. The
new version includes a Low Vision Menu, a pane at the bottom of the screen to
instantly change size, color, font and document spacing. Editing is easier with functions
that include dictionary, thesaurus, spell check, page insertion, deletion/replacement and book marking.
Through its comprehensive Page Layout Description, OPENBook provides information about column
headings, pictures, captions, footnotes, graphics, text blocks and tables. And, with its Page Layout
Navigation, a complete presentation of the page provides a method to move through the documents by
jumping from one element to another. OPENBook’s new, full-featured email package allows users to send,
receive, read, create, organize and sort messages through their Internet provider.

SCAN AND READ PRO
There is a brand new software package available that uses an advanced Object Character Recognition (OCR)
technology that is both user friendly and inexpensive. This software will support up to 12 different
languages. The Pro version also takes advantage of the automatic document feeders that are available on the
more expensive scanners. You can also create MP3 files from the system and take them with you!!
