ITAD OPERATION
• All reviewed messages for a
particular mailbox, can be deleted by
pressing and holding the ERASE key
until you hear, “All old messages
deleted.”
Note: The ERASE function will only
delete old or reviewed messages. New
messages CANNOT be deleted until
they are reviewed.
Scan Playing Messages
Scan Playing provides a 5 second
preview of each message recorded in
a particular mailbox.• Press MAILBOX
until the desired mailbox is announced.
• Press within 4 seconds to Scan
Play all the messages. Note that the
ITAD will return to the Public mailbox
if is not pressed within 4 seconds.
If you want to Scan Play the new
messages only, press and hold
for 1 second.
• The ITAD will announce the total
number of messages / new
messages present in the selected
mailbox.
• Press at any time during Scan
Play to exit the scanning mode.
Pressing during Scan Play will
playback the current message from
the beginning. The ITAD will return
to normal playback mode.
• The day and time stamp will not be
announced after each message is
played, while in Scan Play mode.
• Playback speed cannot be adjusted
while in Scan Play mode.
• After all messages and memos have
been scanned, the final voice prompt
will be, “End of messages”, and the
ITAD will return to normal operation.
Turning the ITAD ON/OFF
• If you want the ITAD to answer calls,
press ANSWER ON key. The ON
LED will then be turned on and
“Answering machine on” will be
announced.
• If you don’t want the ITAD to answer
calls, press ANSWER ON key. The
ON LED will then be turned off and
“Answering machine off” will be
announced.
• Even if the ITAD is set to OFF, it will
still answer calls after 10 rings. An
announcement, “Please enter your
security code” is given, and you can
enter your security code to use
remote operation. (See Remote
Operation of ITAD)
Note: The ITAD will default to ON after
power up.
